Story
"Those we love don't go away,
they walk beside us every day....
unseen, unheard, but always near,
still loved, still missed, and very dear."
~Unknown
Family, friends, and community supporters will be walking to honor the life of Rylan Ezman ("Ezzy") on April 15th as part of the Beat the Blues Cruise 5K run/walk. This time together presents an opportunity to share memories and remember those in our lives who we have lost; espcially to mental health conditions and suicide. We know many people are unable to attend this event but would like to join us in our efforts to promote suicide awareness and its prevention by purchasing an "Ezzy" t-shirt or by giving a cash donation. Through CAUSETEAM, 100% of cash donations (minus cc processing fee) and forty percent of all apparel purchases will be forwarded to this year's non-profit charities chosen by the Beat the Blues Cruise staff, The Jed Foundation (national) and The Charles E. Kubly Foundation (local/Dane Co.).
If you are experiencing mental health related distress or are worried about a loved one who may need crisis support, please call or share the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lineline. Trained crisis counselors are available 24/7/365. The service is free and confidential.
TOGETHER, let's inform and educate to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. TOGETHER, let's remind people there is help, there is hope and YOU MATTER.
