If you know Noreen Bush, you know Noreen Bush! She is one of the most passionate, dedicated, supportive, eager educators, and leaders in the educational community. Over the last two and a half years, our friend, our colleague, our mentor and our leader, Noreen has been fighting a personal health battle of cancer.
If you recall, 2.5 years ago all of us were learning a new way of living amidst a global pandemic and at the same time, Noreen was learning about a personal health challenge she was needing to face and fight...cancer! During that school year, Noreen shared with all of us the importance of making our learning spaces a "Hope Spot" for our students and for one another. She so eloquently inspired us to be the Hope Spot!
During the last two years, we've been reminded about the Hope Spot and Noreen has encouraged us to keep adjusting our spaces and modifying the learning environments to keep it safe and welcoming for all. At that time, we were all facing significant challenges of the pandemic, and even a derecho that damaged our schools and greater community. There were many days where we were expected to make last minute adjustments and oftentimes we didn't really know what tomorrow would bring as we navigated this global pandemic. All the while, Noreen, fighting her own health challenge, was leading the charge! She was keeping the focus on all of us and on all of our students. She continued to be inspiring, passionate and motivating. She loves what she does as an educator and it shows each time she speaks - her passion for learning resounds in all she does!
As we opened up this school year, our theme was to develop a sense of belonging for our students and for one another. Noreen shared the power and importance of showing what it means to “Love and Care” for others in an effort to make sure everyone feels like they belong. She reminded us to continue to make our learning spaces the Hope Spot and to do so through Love and Care.
Unfortunately, last week, Noreen’s cancer journey has led her to take a medical leave. While Noreen is at home, it’s time for us to show our “Love and Care” for her and her family. It’s time we be her Hope Spot!

All funds raised by these shirts will be given to the family to use as they wish. Noreen is a very humble person and this support is one she would least expect, but in an effort to show her the impact she’s had on so many of us, we felt it important to show her how much we “Love and Care” for her and her family. Please consider supporting Noreen and consider sharing it with others to consider as well.
If you are interested in giving a cash donation, that is an option as well. Simply scroll down her CausePage to 'Another Way to Give.' All of those funds will go directly without fees.
Thank you for supporting Noreen and her family,
Jennifer, Catherine, Andrea and many other friends
