Team Zayla

Story

Zayla is a miracle baby, born November 10, 2019.

2 pounds, 4 ounces at birth, 37 days in the NICU, 9 specialist visits and 138 appointments all in her first year.  Despite all this, Zayla manages to be be a very happy and sweet little girl. 

Her second year of life was met with even more specialists and more appointments. She's defied all odds so far, but she has a long way to go. 

Currently, they are working hard to find out what is going on with Zayla. They are looking at close to a month up at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester to try and figure out the best action steps moving forward. She has many procedures and surgeries coming up, and this is just the beginning of this next journey at the Mayo Clinic. Add to that, hotel costs, gas, food, etc. It costs them hundreds of dollars each visit and she has many more visits to go, as well as many past visits she's already made.
