Please consider supporting Melena, our dear friend and colleague. Melena was recently diagnosed with colon cancer after a routine colonoscopy. She will undergo surgery to remove part of the colon. Melena is a busy mom of two high school boys, a loving wife, and a first grade teacher. Those that know her, know she is quick to "show up" for other people. She manages to find ways to help and support her friends and family when somedays she barely has time for herself.
