CAUSETEAM (“we”) respects your privacy. We believe ensuring the security of your personal information is an important part of our job, and we strive to protect any personal information you may provide us. If we ask you to provide any personal information, we will tell you the purposes for which we intend to use that information. Your personal information is not lent or sold to anyone for any purpose that is not specifically addressed in this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Use.
CAUSETEAM has developed this Privacy Policy to make sure you understand what information we collect and what we do with the information collected. The Privacy Policy discloses the information we gather on www.onemissionfundraising.com (the “Site”), as well as ways in which we process and share such information as well as how you can correct or change such information.
This Privacy Policy addresses our privacy practices relating to the general use of our Site by anyone who visits, browses, or otherwise uses the Site (collectively, “You”). Before submitting information to the Site, please read this Privacy Policy. By visiting the Site, submitting information, or making a purchase and/or donation, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy and consent to having your data transferred to and/or processed in the United States. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Site.
2. THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
CAUSETEAM is a product-based fundraising and donation system for people and organizations to raise money for worthy causes. The Site is designed to operate without requiring you to submit any more Personal Information (“PI”) than is necessary to use the Site effectively. We do not require you to register or submit PI in order to visit the Site. Some activities on the Site can be performed without providing PI. When we ask for PI to participate in an activity, set up a fundraiser, make a purchase or make a donation, we will not require anyone to disclose more PI than we believe is reasonably necessary to participate in the activity. We collect the following categories of information from you:
2.1 PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED
We may receive and store any information you enter on the Site that would allow us to identify you personally or contact you. The PI you provide to us only will be used by CAUSETEAM in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Examples of PI we may collect from you include:
- If you set up a fundraising account, we collect your name, phone number, project/mission description, and email address, social information (from the social networking sites you connected with), any photos that you upload to the Site, your mailing address, and phone number.
- If you make a purchase and/or donation through the Site, we collect your name, physical address, phone number, and email address.
- PI you provide about yourself when you send us an email or complete a contact form on the Site. If you are a charity or nonprofit (each a “Charity”) and you establish an account with CAUSETEAM, we will collect the name, tax ID, physical address, email address of the Charity and the name, email address, and phone number of the person who establishes the Charity account.
We may obtain address information about you from third-party sources for fraud prevention or for legal compliance.
2.2 PASSIVE GATHERING OF INFORMATION ELECTRONICALLY
A cookie is a small text file stored on a user’s hard drive. When you visit our Site we use cookies. Cookies are required to shop on our Site. We also use cookies to assist with anonymous Site traffic analysis, which includes tracking the time/date of visits, pages viewed, and referring URLs. We record information about the pages viewed by all of our website visitors. This data includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, connection speed, read time, display time, and the number of clicks. We use this data, in aggregate form, to compile statistics and reports for CAUSETEAM use, and improve the online experience for all visitors.
2.3 E-MAIL COMMUNICATIONS
When you send an email to CAUSETEAM, we may retain your email address and the contents of the email you send. Please note that e-mail is not a secure means to send PI, as it is not encrypted.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
When you provide us with your PI, we may use such information for a number of purposes, including:
- To facilitate communication between CAUSETEAM and you including, without limitation, responding to your questions or comments, sending emails concerning our products and services, or contacting you for feedback;
- To administer your account, process purchases, and donations, provide products or services to you and for CAUSETEAM marketing and promotional activities;
- To provide a report to a fundraiser to whom you benefit by making a purchase or providing a donation;
- To provide you with important functionality changes to the Site, new CAUSETEAM services, and special offers from CAUSETEAM;
- To customize, analyze, adjust and improve the Site;
- To enforce our agreements with you, prevent fraud and other prohibited or illegal activities, for other legally permissible purposes and generally to ensure that we comply with applicable laws;
4. ACCESSING OR CHANGING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
CAUSETEAM allows you to change or correct inaccuracies in your PI by logging into your account and making changes to your PI.
5. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES
CAUSETEAM may give, share, sell or trade your PI to or with any third parties under the following circumstances:
5.1 FUNDRAISERS
When you make a purchase for, or donation to, a fundraiser, CAUSETEAM shares with the fundraiser your name, address, email address, donation amount, date of transaction, and transaction identification number. If you wish to stop receiving communications from a fundraiser, please contact the fundraiser.
5.2 FULFILLMENT OF SERVICES
We may retain other companies and individuals to perform certain functions on our behalf. Examples include, but are not limited to, companies and individuals who: (i) administer the CAUSETEAM accounts; (ii) process donations; (iii) conduct surveys or promotional activities; (iv) deliver products; or (v) provide customer support, web hosting, internet service, and data analysis. Such third parties may be provided with access to PI needed to perform their functions but may not use such information for any other purpose.
5.3 COMPLIANCE WITH LAW AND FRAUD PROTECTION
We may disclose any information, including, without limitation, PI or financial information that we deem necessary, in our sole discretion and without your prior permission, to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request. We may also exchange information, including, without limitation, PI, with other companies and organizations for credit fraud protection, risk reduction, and related activities or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CAUSETEAM, its agents, employees or affiliates, or others. CAUSETEAM reserves the right to disclose PI for a user who we believe is in violation of our Privacy Policy or other terms of service as posted on the Site, even without a subpoena, warrant, court order, or other governmental requests.
5.4 SALE OR TRANSFER OF INFORMATION
In the event of a sale, merger, liquidation, dissolution or sale or transfer of substantially all of the assets of CAUSETEAM or the Site, PI, or financial information, and/or other information collected about you from the Site may be sold, assigned or transferred to the party acquiring all or substantially all of the equity and/or assets of CAUSETEAM or the Site in order to permit the party to continue the operation of CAUSETEAM and/or the Site or any successor version of the Site. By using the Site and providing PI or financial information to CAUSETEAM, you consent to the sale and transfer of your information as described in this paragraph.
6. CREDIT CARD INFORMATION
CAUSETEAM does not collect, store or otherwise maintain any credit card information from individuals who make a donation or purchase through the Site. Donations and purchases, including information associated with your credit card, are processed by our third-party processing partner. All information associated with your use of a third-party processing partner will be handled in accordance with the terms of use for that third-party processing partner and you agree to those terms of use. Currently, CAUSETEAM partners with Stripe (stripe.com) to process credit card and payment information. Stripe’s terms of service may be found here: https://stripe.com/us/terms.
7. INFORMATION YOU PUBLICLY POST
Any PI you post publicly on the Site (“Publicly Available Content”) is available to the public without any expectation of privacy or confidentiality. Copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other users have copied or stored your Publicly Available Content even if you remove the Publicly Available Content. To request the removal of your personal information from these areas of the site, contact us using the information below. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why. The profile you create on our site will be publicly visible.
8. IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES, PRACTICES AND CONTACT INFORMATION
8.1 THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. Please be aware that CAUSETEAM cannot control and is not responsible for the information collection practices of such websites, which may differ from those of CAUSETEAM. We encourage you to review and understand the privacy policies of these websites before providing any information to them.
8.2 DATA SECURITY
We use appropriate security safeguards to protect your PI against loss, theft, and unauthorized access. CAUSETEAM uses industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, to encrypt, or encode, the information you send to us in the order process. The encryption process protects your PI by scrambling it before it is sent from your computer. Only once we receive your information is it decoded. We use reasonable efforts to ensure your PI is securely stored on our own systems.
8.3 CHILDREN
The Site is not intended for persons under the age of 13. CAUSETEAM does not knowingly market to, or solicit information, accept service or collect information from any person under the age of 13. If CAUSETEAM becomes aware that any person submitting information to the Site is under the age of 13, we will attempt to delete the account and any related information as soon as possible. We require that only persons 13 years of age or older use the Site. By using the Site, you hereby represent that you are at least 13 years old.
8.4 CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices. When we post changes to this Privacy Policy, we will revise the updated date at the top of this Privacy Policy. We recommend that you check the Site from time to time to inform yourself of any changes in this Privacy Policy or any of our other policies.

The data protection and other laws of the United States and other countries might not be as comprehensive as those in your country. By using the Site, you consent to your information being transferred to our facilities and to the facilities of those third parties with whom we share it as described in this Privacy Policy.
8.7 NO RIGHTS OF THIRD PARTIES

1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern One Mission Fundraising, Inc.’s, DBA CAUSETEAM,(“CAUSETEAM”, “we”, or “our”) relationship with you when you use the CAUSETEAM website, www.causeteam.com (“site”) and any all services available on or through the site or otherwise provided by CAUSETEAM, (collectively, the “services”). By using or accessing the site, services, you agree to these CAUSETEAM terms and conditions (“terms”). These terms apply to you if you are a fundraiser, donor, beneficiary or any other user of the site and/or services (collectively, “users” or “you”). If you choose to not accept these terms, you can’t use the Site or the services. Be sure to contact us if you have any questions about anything in the terms. In general, CAUSETEAM facilitates financial support for a fundraiser through donations paid as a portion of product sales as well as direct cash donations to the fundraiser by a donor. Collectively, these are called a donation.
However, to be eligible to use the services and access the Site, you must: (1) be at least 18 (or between the ages of 13 and 17 and using the Site and services with parental or legal guardian consent and supervision); (2) be registered with us (to the extent required) and not have been previously restricted, suspended or terminated by us; and (3) not be using another member’s account without her/his permission.
Services are only offered in the U.S. at this moment. Users are responsible for complying with all local rules, laws, and regulations regarding their use of the site and services.
2. Overview
2.1 Our role. The purpose of our Site and services is to help individuals or organizations raise money, but we do not pick or endorse any such individuals or organizations or any of their causes. We merely provide a technology platform to allow fundraisers to connect with donors. The existence of the Site or services is not a solicitation of donations and CAUSETEAM does not engage in any solicitation activities on behalf of any fundraisers. CAUSETEAM charges certain fees for donations made on or through site. All of CAUSETEAM’s fees are explained below.
2.2 Starting a Fundraiser (“CausePage"). It is easy to start a fundraiser by following the steps on the site. You will be required to provide some personal information when you sign up.
2.3 User Names. You may need a username and password to use certain features of the site and services. By selecting a user name and password you agree that you will not select or use a name: (a) of another person with the intent to impersonate that person; (b) subject to the rights of any person without authorization; (c) in violation of the intellectual property rights of any person; or (d) that CAUSETEAM, in its sole discretion, deems inappropriate or offensive. You hereby expressly permit CAUSETEAM to identify you by your user name (which may be a pseudonym). You acknowledge and agree that you shall have no ownership or other property interest in your account, or user name, and you further acknowledge and agree that all rights in and to your user name and account are and shall forever be owned by and inure to the benefit of CAUSETEAM. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account, and are responsible for all activities (whether by you or by others) that occur under your password or account. You will notify CAUSETEAM immediately of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security. CAUSETEAM assumes no liability for any loss or damage arising from any unauthorized use of your password or account by a third party. CAUSETEAM has the right to reclaim any user names for any reason.
2.4 Accurate Information. You agree to: (a) provide accurate information as prompted on the site or through the services; and (b) maintain and update such information to keep it accurate. If you provide any information that is inaccurate, or CAUSETEAM has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is inaccurate, CAUSETEAM may suspend or terminate your use of the services and/or the site and/or decline to permit your continued use of the site and/or the services and future access to the site and/or the services.
2.5 Privacy. In addition to reviewing these terms, you should also read our Privacy Policy to better comprehend how we collect and use your personal information. Your use of the site and its services constitutes your agreement to our Privacy Policy.
2.6 Relationship of CAUSETEAM. By using this site you understand and agree that CAUSETEAM shall not be responsible for any losses or damages incurred as a result of their fundraising activities on the site. In the event of a dispute between users (including but not limited to fundraisers, donors, beneficiaries, and third parties), you hereby release CAUSETEAM, its employees, agents, affiliates, directors, officers, representatives, subcontractors, advisors and volunteers from all claims, damages and demands that may or may not be known, suspected or related to such disputes about our service.
3. Additional Terms for Fundraisers
3.1 Any individual, entity or organization that registers a fundraiser through the site or the services (“fundraisers”) is subject to the following additional terms of these terms that apply specifically to fundraisers.
3.2 By raising funds through the services, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are raising money for a cause or activity that is legal under all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations; and (b) you will use all donated funds solely for the purpose you have stated on the site, and under no circumstances may you use the funds for any other. Additionally, if you are raising funds for a non-profit organization (a “charity”), you represent and warrant that such charity has and will maintain tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. If you are not a charity, you represent and warrant that you can meet all user eligibility requirements for the services and have a social security number or an EIN and a U.S. bank account.
3.3 Creating a Fundraiser. Users may create and post a fundraiser to showcase and share certain information about the cause and elicit purchases of products and/or cash donations (collectively, “donations”).
3.4 If you create a fundraiser, you represent and warrant that you: (a) are the authorized representative of the beneficiary with the authority: (i) to solicit donations for the beneficiary; and (ii) to bind the beneficiary to the terms of this Agreement; and (b) ensure all donations are disbursed properly and legally to the beneficiary and all donations are used as described by the campaign.
3.5 Purchases on behalf of the Fundraiser. The site offers for sale a selection of the products which may be purchased by donors. A percentage of the purchase price (currently forty percent (40%)) of each purchased product will be forwarded to the fundraiser. Purchase price does not include sale tax or transaction fees, as discussed below.
3.6 Cash donations for the benefit of the fundraiser. Donors may donate to a fundraiser without also purchasing a product. Such cash donations will be forwarded to the fundraiser minus transaction fees and cash donation fees, as discussed below.
3.7 Receiving Funds. Within fifteen (15) business days following the end of a month, funds due to a fundraiser will be sent in the form of a check by mail, to the user-designated name and address listed in the fundraiser account.
4. Additional Terms for Shoppers and Donors
4.1 Any individual, entity or organization that registers as a shopper, or donor, and donates funds through the site or the services (“donor”), via a product purchase or cash donation, is subject to the following additional terms of these terms that apply specifically to donors.
4.2 Donor’s and Shopper’s Risk. All donations are at your own risk. Please make sure that when you donate to a given campaign, you understand how your money will be used. When donating, only donate to those people or entities that you feel comfortable donating to or otherwise know and trust. CAUSETEAM does not warrant that funds will be used for any particular purpose and is not responsible for any misuse of the funds by the beneficiary.
4.3 Donor Commitments. By donating through the site, you represent and warrant that any donation you make is legal in your jurisdiction and that you are authorized to use the payment method you have selected. Each donor agrees and acknowledges that: (i) all donations to fundraisers are made as unrestricted gifts and may not be specified for any particular purpose; (ii) designated donation amounts and processing fees will be charged to the credit or debit card or other payment method you use through Stripe (stripe.com); and (iii) all donations are final and non-refundable.
4.4 Tax Deductions. CAUSETEAM makes no representation as to whether all or any portion of your donations, including, if any, processing fees, are tax deductible. CAUSETEAM will have no liability for any claim by any federal, state, local or any other tax authority with respect to the characterization on any applicable tax return of any donation by you, any CAUSETEAM user or any fundraiser. You should consult your tax advisor as to the amount of your donation that is tax deductible.
5. Fees
5.1 Transaction Fees on Donations. When a donation is made through CAUSETEAM, a transaction and service fee of 2.9% of the full transaction amount (including applicable sales tax and shipping) plus $.30 per transaction is deducted from the donated total and the remainder will be provided to the fundraiser.
5.2 Chargebacks and Refunds. Occasionally, a donor may dispute a credit or debit card charge for a purchase or cash donation through the CAUSETEAM site.
5.3 If purchases or donations are refunded to the donor by CAUSETEAM, CAUSETEAM will deduct the chargebacks or refunds from future payments to the fundraiser, and if necessary, issue an invoice to the fundraiser and the fundraiser expressly agrees that it will be responsible to pay CAUSETEAM the full amount of the refunded donation.
6. General Terms
6.1 Ownership of the site, site information and services. The site and services and all technology underlying the same are expressly owned and operated by CAUSETEAM. Unless otherwise noted, the design and content features on the site and services, including without limitation, information and other materials, illustrations, product layout and design, icons, navigational buttons, images, artwork, graphics, photography, text, data, audio sound, software, URLs, and the like, as well as the selection, assembly and arrangement thereof (collectively, the “site information”), are owned by CAUSETEAM or its affiliates, if any, or are licensed by CAUSETEAM from third parties. The site and services, as a whole and in part, are protected by copyright, trademark, service mark, trade name, and other intellectual property and proprietary rights, and all other applicable rights are reserved.
6.2 The trademarks, logos, and service marks (“marks”) displayed on the site are registered trademarks of their respective owners, are the property of their respective owners, and/or are protected by U.S. and international trademark laws and/or common law. Their uses are restricted to programs, events, products or services that CAUSETEAM sponsors or with which we are otherwise affiliated. CAUSETEAM’s trademarks may not be used for personal financial gain. Use of the marks is prohibited without CAUSETEAM’s express written consent except as permitted by applicable laws. Nothing contained on the site should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use the marks without CAUSETEAM’s express written consent.
6.3 No portion of the site, services or site information may be reprinted, republished, modified, or distributed in any form without CAUSETEAM’s express written permission. You may not, and these terms do not give you permission to, reproduce, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, transmit, sell, distribute, license or create derivative works with respect to the site, services or any of the site information.
6.4 You may not remove any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property or proprietary notice or legend contained on the site, services, or the site information and you must retain all copyright, trademark, service mark and other proprietary notices contained on the site, services or in the original site information on any authorized copy you make of the site, services or the site information.
6.5 Use of Site. The site, services and the site information are provided “as is” with all faults. Your use of the site, services, and the site information is at your own risk. The site, services or site information may contain errors or omission, or may be out of date. The site, services or site information may, without prior notice, change, be deleted or updated at any time. As a condition of your use of the service or the site, you promise to:
6.5.1 Use the site and service in compliance with all laws, regulations, ordinances, directives, court orders and this Agreement;
6.5.2 Use the service so as not to damage, disable, overburden or impair the service, our networks or systems or not to interfere with any others’ legal rights or use or enjoyment of the service; and
6.5.3 Not engage in, or encourage, promote, facilitate or instruct others to engage in, activities which, in our judgment and discretion: (1) are illegal; (2) result in the infringement of the intellectual property rights of others or libel or defamation of another person; or (3) harvest or otherwise collect information about others (such as e-mail addresses or other personally identifiable information) without their consent.
6.6 Content. When you are using the site and/or the services, you may have the opportunity to post, stream, transmit or otherwise provide photos, videos, ideas, remarks, questions, data, graphics, opinions, designs, customizations, or other content (including information, if any, on message boards, friend feeds, comments or other forums on the site or through the services (collectively “user generated content”). You alone, not CAUSETEAM, are responsible for all of your user generated content and you retain ownership to all user generated content. However, by submitting your user generated content to CAUSETEAM, you hereby grant CAUSETEAM a fully paid, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive and fully sublicensable right (including any moral rights) and license to use, license, distribute, reproduce, modify, adapt, publicly perform, publicly display, derive revenue or other remuneration from, and communicate to the public, your user generated content (in whole or in part) and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media or technology now known or later developed, for the full term of any worldwide intellectual property right, including moral rights, that may exist in your user generated content.
6.7 You warrant that the holder of any worldwide intellectual property right, including moral rights, in your user generated content, has completely and effectively waived all such rights and validly and irrevocably granted to you the right to grant the license stated above. In addition, you represent and warrant that you will not:
6.7.1 provide user generated content that is obscene, indecent, defamatory, libelous, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing, or infringes any third party’s copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy;
6.7.2 create any liability for CAUSETEAM or cause us to lose (in whole or in part) the services of our internet service provider(s), web hosting company or any other vendors or suppliers;
6.7.3 engage in any conduct that, in CAUSETEAM’s sole judgment and discretion, restricts or inhibits any other user from using or enjoying the site or services;
6.7.4 use the site or services to impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;
6.7.5 interfere with or disrupt any servers or networks used to provide the site or services or their respective features, or disobey any requirements of the networks CAUSETEAM uses to provide the site or services;
6.7.6 gain unauthorized access to the site, or any account, computer system, or network connected to this site or services, by any unauthorized or illegal means;
6.7.7 obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information not intentionally made available through the site or services;
6.7.8 use the site or services to post, transmit or in any way exploit any information, software or other material for commercial purposes, or that contains advertising, except that using the site or services for fundraising activities is expressly permitted;
6.7.9 engage in advertising or commercial solicitation of any product or service without CAUSETEAM’s written consent, except that using the site or services for fundraising activities is expressly permitted;
6.7.10 gather for marketing purposes any email addresses or other personal information that has been posted by other users;
6.7.11 post any identification documents or sensitive information about another person.
6.8 CAUSETEAM shall have the right, but no obligation, to monitor user generated content and other features of the site and services to determine compliance with these terms and any other operating rules we establish. CAUSETEAM shall have the right in its sole discretion to edit, refuse to post or remove any material submitted to or posted through the site or services. We do not control any user generated content that you or other users may provide. CAUSETEAM neither endorses nor is responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any opinion, advice or statement on the user generated content, whether it is provided by CAUSETEAM, our employees, or a third party.
6.9 Under no circumstances will CAUSETEAM be liable for any loss or damage of any kind caused by reliance on information obtained through user generated content of the site or services. CAUSETEAM is not responsible for any offensive, defamatory, obscene or any other posting made through the site or services. We reserve the right at all times to disclose any information we believe necessary to satisfy any law, regulation or governmental request, or to refuse to post or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, that in CAUSETEAM’s sole discretion is inappropriate, objectionable or in violation of these terms. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to Contact Us immediately by email to hello@causeteam.com.
6.10 CAUSETEAM is a provider of an interactive computing service as set forth in the Communications Decency Act, 47 U.S.C. §230 and expressly reserves its rights to not be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider on the site or through the services.
6.11 Digital Millennium Copyright Act; Copyright Complaints. CAUSETEAM respects the intellectual property rights of others and requires those that visit the site and use our network to do the same. CAUSETEAM may, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, remove or disable access to material on the site or our network that infringes upon the copyright rights of others. CAUSETEAM also may, at our discretion, remove or disable links or references to an online location that contains infringing material or infringing activity. In the event that any visitors to the site or users of our network repeatedly infringe on others’ copyrights, CAUSETEAM may in its sole discretion terminate those individuals’ rights to use the site or our network. If you believe that your work has been used on our site or network in any manner that constitutes copyright infringement, please notify CAUSETEAM’s copyright agent by written notice. The notice should include the following information:
6.11.1 An electronic or physical signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright allegedly infringed;

6.12 Suspension or Termination of Your Use of the Site. 7. Liability
7.1 Indemnification.
