Caring Corner Christian Daycare and Preschool

Mission Statement:
To provide a safe, caring environment based on Christian principles for the social, emotional, intellectual and physical development of preschool children.

Philosophy:
The Caring Corner philosophy is based on current knowledge about young children and how they learn.  Caring Corner provides learning experiences that challenge, probe and encourage children to explore their world.  Developmentally appropriate activities are designed to meet the needs of each child.  Play is child’s work.  This is where children are exploring, creating, trying out new roles, asking questions, problem solving and learning pro-social skills.  We want to challenge each child to their potential in age appropriate ways.  Our desire is to encourage and support each child’s love for learning.  This program is designed to meet the cognitive, social, emotional and physical needs of the children.  Experiences in the areas of creative play, language development, art, music, math, science and motor skills are planned regularly by the staff.  A Christian atmosphere is created through Christian music, stories and other learning experiences.

We provide Biblical teaching on a weekly basis and all staff are encouraged to share Christian values which are respectful and age appropriate.

We are fundraising to allow us to continue to supply our wonderful children, teachers and staff with supplies, equipment and opportunities to allow us to provide the highest level of care and learning.
