Let's Build an Ambulance!
Start: Jan 23, 2019 - End: Jun 30, 2019
The Lisbon-Mount Vernon Ambulance Service needs your help!
It is time for us to replace one of our ambulances. Our back-up ambulance, Adam 52, is over ten years old and our primary ambulance, Adam 51, is nearing it’s time for light duty. As a non-profit (504a) volunteer ambulance service that is primarily funded from our own revenue, we want to raise funds for our new ambulance in a fun and interesting way…
We want to fundraise for the new ambulance piece-by-piece! Our first goal is to be able to purchase something that will make our job much safer. We would like to include high-visibility graphics on the new ambulance to make us more visible when on roadways and in our communities (Neither of our current ambulances have this feature). This will reduce the possibility of injuries to our volunteers when working roadside and ensure overall safety.
Our volunteer staff appreciate any and all contributions to improving the safety of our job.
