Dominican Republic

While attending Belmont University, students are given many opportunities to engage and transform not only individually, but throughout the world.  This upcoming spring break vacation, I strive to be able to attend a missions trip to serve those located in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic.

In the Dominican, Belmont University will partner with Praying Pelican Missions, a domestic organization that facilitates mission experiences all over the world. Their commitment outlines:

Praying Pelican Missions aims to give your missions group the opportunity to make a long-term, genuine impact on a local community. When your team joins us for your mission trip, your group will work directly alongside local ministries where you can help to meet real needs.

We believe that healthy short-term mission trips are possible by building upon genuine partnerships, long-term relationships, and sustainable ministry.

This trip is a chance to be immersed in a local culture outside the U.S., grow in understanding of the cares and concerns of those communities, and promote fellowship and mutuality in personal interactions with others. In other words, while there are opportunities to serve and complete projects, the emphasis is on learning and relationship growth.

There are 3 easy ways YOU can support my Fund:
1. You can purchase any of One Mission’s great products and 40% of what you spend will be donated.
2. You can donate cash (One Mission doesn’t charge a platform fee).
3. You can share this Fund with your friends and family.
Please consider doing all three of these things!
