Knock Out Parkinson's with Team Kopacz

Shortly over four years ago Jason Kopacz, at age 37, went to the doctor for what he thought was carpal tunnel.  In reality he received a diagnosis for Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease.  With four young kids at home, life for he and his wife, Kristi, changed overnight.  They found themselves needing to accept the unexpected and grasp the reality of an uncertain future.  For three years The Kopaczs kept the diagnosis close, sharing with only some family and friends, as they sorted through a lot of unknowns.  Now they are making it their mission to not only share their story but to battle for a better tomorrow, for all families affected by Parkinson’s. They are raising funds to support Team Fox – the grassroots fundraising program at The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) for Parkinson’s Research. Using high-impact science, smart risk taking and a commitment to urgency and efficiency, the MJFF works with people around the globe to speed a cure for Parkinson’s. When you give today, 100 percent of your support will go to Team Fox who in turn gives all proceeds straight to MJFF research programs! Five million people worldwide are living with Parkinson’s disease — a chronic, degenerative neurological disorder. It is the second most common neurological disorder and 60,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year in the U.S. alone. Today there is no known cure for Parkinson’s but your support can help pave the way to a brighter future and provide hope for people like Jason and thousands of others battling this disease.  Your support is accepted with great gratitude – Thank you!
