Timber Ridge Pony Club
Start: Mar 22, 2018 - End: Jun 1, 2019
We are a local club sport that develops character, leadership, confidence, and a sense of community through a program that teaches the care of horses and riding. Although open to youth and adults as well as men and women, our club is largely young girls who grow in confidence and develop a sense of self through participation in our activities. Part of the instructional program includes knowledge of safety standards, veterinary care, classroom teaching, hands-on teaching, public speaking, and community service.
Here’s a recent quote from one of our Pony Club members:
It is so peaceful at the barn. Even when there is a lot going on and horses are being crazy, it is so much less crazy than what is happening in the real world.
– Evelyn, 11 years old
Many of our graduates feel that Pony Club helped shape their character and the choices they have made as adults. It is this life long positive impact that motivates our club’s parents and instructors to reach out and invite new members to join in the fun. Contact us if you would like more information!
